Old Stage Riding Stables
Attention! November through April can be snowy or icy and we only operate if trails and the roads are safe. Please call directly for reservations if you want to hold horses without advance payment.
The Colorado West greets you as you drive up Old Stage Road, the path used by stage coaches years ago to connect Colorado Springs with the historic mining town of Cripple Creek.
The riding trails at the Old Stage Riding Stables provide you with views of deep forest to panoramic mountain overlooks, of Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region. Your knowledgeable guide will lead you on a beautiful adventure over trails of western beauty where you may see deer, elk, wild turkey, or fox.
With a wide variety of horses, we can match everyone from the novice to the experienced rider to a suitable mount.
Adults and children alike enjoy the antics of various animals that call the stables home.
